Secure your chosen plot with an 'Option To Buy' fee, which takes the property off the market for a 12-week period (this can be extended depending on your circumstances). This initial step ensures that no one else can claim your selected spot while you finalise your plans.
At the end of the option period, a deposit of either 5% or 10% (including the reservation fee already paid) is required. This amount and the terms will have been agreed upon during the signing of your option to buy.
